Production Team

Rennie Sharp
Executive Producer and Director

Mr. Sharp formed Cali 2 NY Productions, LLC to produce the socially driven stories about the human condition.  His short film “Tony and Angel” starring DeRon Brigdon, Damion Lee, Yenny Love and Michelle Soto debuted at the Reel Works of NYC showcase 2012.   He would later produce and direct the web series “THE UNDETECTED”  starring  Storm Gunraj, Mathilde Dratwa, Jessica Castro, Peter D. Michael and Rick Koller, which premièred in the Oktoberfest Film Festival in 2013.  The Undetected script was developed from the original screenplay written by Rennie Sharp that's currently in pilot development.

Born in Brooklyn New York and the product of a broken home Rennie would soon find himself on the wrong side of the law, which in essence would become the basis of these stories.  Subsequently,  we are presented with choices, and how those choices can affect and set off a chain of events some with tragic results.  It was  through stories like these that Rennie’s passion for filmmaking would become his main source of acceptance and forgiveness. Rennie’s works would focus on the many social issues, from prison reform, to racial violence and social tolerance. Rennie’s storytelling style takes on the most controversial topics.
